I work as a medical assistant for a wonderful doctor, who teaches me so much about clinical medicine.  I know that this opportunity is going to help me become the best doctor I can be. 

Currently, I am in my last semester of undergraduate school.  My application for medical school is under review now. 

I volunteer my time for the Three Rivers Rowing Association: Adaptive Program.  In this program I help disabled people lead active lives by assisting them to get in the boats and on the water.  We row in the summer and we strength train in the winter.  It is a great program because it gives these people exercise, enjoyment and a sense of independence.

Hello, I am trying to get into medical school.  Right now I work part time as a medical assistant and I go to college part time. I have taken student loans to pay for my schooling, but I barely make enough money to live.  The hardest part is that I cannot afford health insurance, which is not offered to me as a part time student/employee.  If I could just get a little help to make it through these hard times, I know I will be able to pay it forward when I become a physician.  When I graduate, I am committing myself to set up a scholarship fund to help students like me try to make it through school.  I also plan to volunteer my services as a physician to low income patients and those without health insurance, because health care is not a luxury, it is an individual right.
